Falls Guys Coming To Nintendo Switch?
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been pretty much an overnight sensation since its release on PS4 and Steam. The game sees you and up to 60 players compete in several battle royale events in the hope of becoming the overall winner. Think of the old Takeshi’s Castle game show in Asia.
Since its release, the game has been a big hit with players and streamers worldwide. Twitchtracker reported that at its peak, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout reached over 620,000 consecutive viewers over on Twitch. Also on the first day of release, the game’s servers were reported to have overflowed due to popularity.
So with the popularity of the game being through the, it would seem a prime idea that the game would release on the console that has sold more than 60 million units in 3 years.
Well thanks to a data miner who decided to go through the Steam version of the game, a file seems to show built-in support for the Nintendo Switch.
As you can see from the tweet above from @oatmealdome on Twitter. Even though the game has built-in support for the Nintendo Switch built into the files, doesn’t mean the game will release soon or even at all on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Although if the devs want to ride the hype train that ‘Fall Guys’ is on at the moment it would be an idea to release ports sooner rather than later.
What do you think about the Nintendo Switch SDK files being found in the Steam version of the game? Do you think Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will release on Switch soon and would you purchase the game?
